At the upcoming happy hours at the Continental, I'll be hosting a food
drive for the Food Bank of New York City. All of the food banks are
running low on everything. This is a great time to take a look & see
if you have anything from the list below that you'd like to bring by
to donate.
As an added incentive, for every 3 items you bring, you'll get a
raffle ticket. This will be good for a raffle that we'll draw for the
big prize on the last happy hour of collection - Wednesday, December
12. Trigger has generously donated a $100 bar tab for the raffle!
So, go through those cupboards and see what you've got.
Happy hours are 11/28, 12/5 and 12/12. Donations accepted from about
7 to about 10PM. You can collect a raffle ticket each week or
multiple tickets in one happy hour, depending on how many items you
bring for donation.
Also, if anyone has anything they'd like to donate for raffling off,
please let me know - as anything to encourage people to donate is
generously accepted. If you'd like to help me hand out raffle
tickets/take donations, please let me know.
Thanks everyone - in advance - for your contribution! If you have any
questions, please let me know. See below for what to donate...
